WATCHING DEATH!

Scientists think death is the end of personal consciousness. Religious people think that their spirits and souls live on. Near-death-experience people claim that they "travel down a long tunnel of light, looking down their body." These are caused by disorganized brain signals while on the verge of dying. The most important experiment that’s never been done is to take fMRI or PET scans of people as they die.

I never really knew the explanation behind the phrase about death , the "light at the end of the tunnel" until now. Death is scary to think about and maybe if we knew more about it, it would be not as frightening. So I think doing an experiment on dying would be useful.

quang, i think that this would be a really important experiment to research because what happens during and after death is really cool

yeah but the problem is people can't tell what dying people see because only they know what they see and sometimes they're not reliable. Also, MRI scans/PET scans don't really help because they don't show much difference between dying and being alive
